Niagara... the word alone evokes magnificence, brilliance,
reverence and also... terror! As you gaze in wonder at the
falls, it's impossible not to feel infinitely small in the
presence of this thundering cataract which simply takes your
breath away. The first white person to behold the falls was
Étienne Brulé, a trapper sent by Champlain in 1615 to reconnoitre
Iroquois territory.
You will not want to miss exploring this now fertile region
with its vineyards internationally famous for their ice wine
and its picturesque towns which make it a favourite on the
world tourism circuit. It is a short hour's drive away from
Toronto, Canada's economic driver, metropolis of the "New
World", and a gathering place for millions of Canadians in
search of entertainment and culture. The big city awaits you
with open arms.
